So, it's been another while since I last wrote. I'm not so good at journal keeping...lol. Not a whole lot going on here in the last couple months. I've been busy with the holidays and family. My hubby bought an elliptical exercise machine so we can get in shape this year (I don't have much weight to lose, but there is some...lol), so I've been working out 5 days a week...plus I've been getting into yoga and finding more inner peace. And whoa...my birthday's in a couple days! Figured since I'm turning 35 this year, I might as well start living a healthier lifestyle. And my muse has been on her own little vacation...and is slowly returning.

In the meantime, I bought myself a nice little Christmas gift - a new digital camera! I couldn't afford a DSLR, but was able to get a pretty good point and shoot that's got a few DSLR capabilities. It's a Canon Powershot SX230 HS...much better than my old Kodak. So...since I've been able to get a few good shots with it so far, I figured I'd start a photography album on here. I've uploaded those photos that I thought turned out pretty good. I did add slight artistic flare to them...mostly either a sunlight filter to brighten them up, a soft focus filter to give them a softer look, and/or a bokeh effect. But other than that, they are untouched...no photo-manipulations.

Anyone who deals in photography, feel free to give me some pointers. I don't have critiques turned on, but feel free to leave a comment here or on the photos if you feel you have some good advice for better ones. Thanks!
