Hello and welcome to my dA page!

I'm a digital 3D artist living in Northern California with my husband, 2 kids, and our many fur-babies.
I create my artwork using Poser Pro 2014 (with pre-made 3D content) and Paint Shop Pro X4. I've been a digital artist for many years now, since 2006, and while I have found my style, I still learn new things within my craft all the time!

I am also a promotional artist for an artistic group called Artistic License Promotions. We help promote various 3D content vendors and their products through our beautiful artwork.

Please note that the artwork I upload here is smaller than originally created and covered in digital watermarks. This is for my protection. If you would like to purchase any prints, they will not have any of the watermarks, only my artist signature.

Thank you for your visit! Please come back soon! :aww:

Size doesn't matter...

A little re-visit to the copyright issue. It appears there are some people out there who think that if an image is uploaded at a larger size and/or higher resolution and it is illegally downloaded and used in someone else's images, that the thief shouldn't be reprimanded...because hey, you shouldn't upload your images that big! Um, no.

The ONLY time it is EVER ok to download someone else's work is if you were given permission by the artist of that work or they state on the image/website that the image is free for public use. THAT'S IT. There is no way around that...copyright law states it. Even if the image is available for download via the download button and there is no copyright information stated, the only way that image can be used in any other works or for anything commercial and/or public is if the artist says it can be.

One should not assume that because it's available for download that one can use it however they want. It could be available for reference purposes. Or maybe for personal use as a desktop wallpaper. Or maybe it was just left available by accident. No matter the reason, one cannot assume that an available download, no copyright information, and/or a large file size means it's ok to use. IT'S NOT. Works are copyrighted to the artist the moment they are created. And if you assume that, and take the work without permission, it is YOU who are the thief, YOU who will be reported, and YOU who can be sued.

There is no such thing as an "innocent" art thief. If you take what isn't yours without permission, you are a thief. It seems this thinking that the artist is responsible for some of the thievery is contributing to the reason there is so much theft. The artist is not responsible for what YOU download, YOU are responsible. So if you don't have the artist's permission and/or the image does not state that it is open source material, then you cannot download it and use it for anything commercial or public.

It's really not that hard a concept to understand. For more in-depth copyright info, please see my other journal - ravenmoondesigns.deviantart.co…

FAQ's - About My Artwork and Usage Terms

1. Did you really create all this artwork?
Yes. I use two programs, Poser Pro 2014 and Paint Shop Pro X6. Plus pre-made 3D and 2D content I buy from vendors in the 3D marketplace. (Renderosity, RuntimeDNA, Daz3D)

2. Can I share your artwork?
As long as you share properly using the Share links/buttons directly from my artist pages, yes.
I love it when my artwork is shared. It's part of why I create...for others' to view a piece of my soul.

3. How do I share properly?
DeviantART has a Share button to the right of the comment area. Facebook has a Share link under each image that is uploaded. Renderosity has a Share button under the image. Please use those.
Do not download my artwork to your computer and then upload it to your own page.

4. Can I use your artwork to make signature tags, wallpapers, or other graphics?
No, I do not allow that at this time.
My work does not fall into the public domain, so please do not just grab it off the internet and use it without my permission. To do so is considered copyright infringement and I can take legal action against you.
See my journal for more info on copyright - ravenmoondesigns.deviantart.co…

5. What do I do if I see your artwork posted on or being shared from someone elses' page?
Do not share it, like it, or tag it...that keeps the cycle of theft going.
Please contact me and let me know. From DeviantART, send me a note. From Facebook, send me a message or leave a comment on my artist page. From Renderosity, send me a site mail.
Please do not comment on the artwork on my behalf. As appreciated as that is, it will only cause confusion.

6. Are you open for commissions? How much?
Yes, info here - ravenmoondesigns.deviantart.co…

Thank you so much for enjoying my artwork. If you have any other questions, please ask.
