| Hello! My name is Brandy, although online I generally go by Ravyn or RavynGyrl. My digital muse was brought out back in late 1999, when I first started creating web pages. I was a traditional pencil/sketch artist before that. I began dabbling in photo-manipulations in early 2000 when I bought my first copy of Paint Shop Pro (have since upgraded to version X3). With each tutorial I followed and each graphic I made, I learned new techniques and my work improved. I bought Poser 6 in late December 2005 (I now use Poser Pro 2012) and I absolutely love creating with it. My favorite genres are fantasy, goth, and steam-punk...and I often like to mix them. Fantasy has always been my all-time love, though, and tends to show up more in my art. I am somewhat of a perfectionist, and that reflects onto my artwork. I won't spend forever working on a piece, but I will spend enough time on it to make it look great. I don't produce anything I am not proud of. However, I am constantly learning new techniques and improving my style, so what I thought was great a year ago isn't necessarily great today. On the personal side, I'm a married stay-at-home mother of two boys. We share our home with many fur babies, including a cockatiel, a rabbit, a cat, a Siberian Husky, an Alaskan Malamute, and a Papillon.
